Emily is interviewed by BBC South East Today and appears on TV regards lack of support by local businesses.

Emily will be riding in at Bordeaux on  February 2nd & 3rd for GBR  this is her second year and hopes to better her 6th place last year.

The competition is over 1.15 M fences against the clock with combinations and spreads incorporated into the course. A link to the site is below

Emily was invited to the Prestigious Achievers awards on Thursday 21st September. These awards were organised by the Bexhill Observer and had major sponsors (Redrow, United Arab Emirates, Chamber of Commerce and many other local businesses)

Emily was nominated and won Sports Personality 2006, but that was not all the awards given to Emily that night, she also won the top award of Overall Achiever of 2006. Emily commented " It was a complete and utter surprise to win this award, but it goes to show what can be done on a shoestring, its all down to hard work and dedication"

Para Show Jumping Chevillon France

Emily Lawes and Louise Hacker will be riding as Individuals for Great Britain in Chevillon France 9th & 10th of September, an International Event with entrants from England, France and Ireland.

This is a new sport for GB Paras with the French leading the way, Its still in its infancy but we hope to be holding a Event next year along side able bodied riders in which International para riders will be invited as individuals to participate.
